DNJ,the full name is 1-deoxynojirimycin, is a natural alkaloid found in Morus alba L. ,The molecular weight is 163.7. As a potent inhibitor of glucose metabolism enzymes (such as α -glucosidase, hexokinase, glucuronidase and glycogen phosphatase), DNJ can significantly delay the degradation of polysaccharides.
