Mannan Oligosaccharides (MOS) is an immune polysaccharide present in the cell wall of yeast that regulates the intestinal tract . It mainly consists of long D - mannose chains ( main chains ) connected by a -(1-6) bonds , short side chains composed of a -(1-2) bonds , ando -(1-3) bonds . The functional oligosaccharide extracted and refined from the cell wall of Saccharomyces cerevisiae can activate and proliferate bifidobacteria and lactic acid bacteria in large quantities , regulate the micro ecological balance , and is also a high - quality soluble dietary fiber prebiotic.
