Agriculture Usage :
Pyrethrins have a powerful contact killing effect and a broad insecticidal spectrum. The main dosage forms are powder, emulsifiable concentrate, aerosol, oil, mosquito coil and so on. The residual period is short. Mainly used to prevent and control sanitary pests and livestock pests. It is very safe for humans and animals, has no phytotoxicity to plants, no residues, and does not pollute agricultural products and environment. Safe for warm-blooded animals. FAO/WHO recommends a daily allowable intake of 0.04mg/kg body weight. Rats took 1500 mg/kg orally.
